can’t believe it’s leaked this early… probably even far earlier than Mami Kawada’s ‘masterpiece’ last month.

okay…. first, i want to talk about the PV. there are two MELLs there. the one with white victorian lolita outfits, and the one with black fur-y coat rocker style. white MELL looks really elegant and beautiful x3 x3 while black MELL is kinda… cool and sexy… 😀 but i like white MELL more 😛

and then… the song. i don’t know how it sounded like a powered-up version of KOTOKO’s ‘BLAZE’ on some parts and MELL’s ‘Virgin’s High!’. the 1st chorus-intro-2nd verse transition is rather weird. not so connected. and we also have MELL’s Engrishness. okay. i really can’t understand what she’s singing if i haven’t seen the lyrics. MELL really has to improve her English accent. her Engrishness might be her selling point *maybe, i said*, but… oh please MELL-san, make us at least able to understand what you’re singing -_-;

so, let’s move on to the Japanese version. well, it only differs on the lyrics of course. she also put some different english lyrics in the Japanese version. but… he ?!?!?! i still love the Engrish version more o_O;; guess that’s what you call with ‘ohh… I’ve been too used to it’ syndrome 😛

now, Ken Morioka’s remix version. it’s shorter, only 3:48 while the original is 4:42.he makes the song less trance-ier than the original version and he emphasized the drums. he also cut the 1st chorus out from the song, the reason why the song is shorter than the original. but he doesn’t lose the essence of the song, making it a good remix =3

but, anyway, RIDEBACK is really good change for MELL. it’s not a song with dark aura like what MELL usually do. it really fits the image of the anime ‘RideBack’ and i’d even thought the PV would have involved somekind of moto-racing scene since the song just had the racing feel in it  xD xD

i’ve loved this song since hearing the short version and love it even more now =3 well, the weird transition did ruin the song a bit, but it’s fine since it’s just that one part.
